It is a pleasure for the Community of Franciscan Friars & Sisters of the Renewal to welcome you to Casa Juan Diego. Located in Yonkers, NY on the corner of Yonkers Avenue & Walnut Street.
The Casa offers the following spiritual and material services to the entire Latino community. All of the services at Casa Juan Diego are provided free of charge to any member of the community that needs our help. Casa is directed and operated by the Franciscan Friars & Sisters of the Renewal, a Catholic community dedicated to serving the materially and spiritually poor in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. The community has five friaries in the Archdiocese of New York and two missions, one in London, England and the other in Comayagua, Honduras.
Hospitality - we invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee and to talk with the friars and sisters Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 am to 11:00 am and Tuesday & Thursday afternoons 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Education - come and participate in English classes, talks and discussions about important topics, presented according to your suggestions and practical needs.
Evangelization - come and learn the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith through prayer, bible study and spiritual fellowship.
Youth Group - Br. Lawrence and Br. Felix with Sr. Therese and Sr. Clare and the children of the neighborhood.
