Dear Friends, Today I spent the afternoon with Fr. Benedict, filming
a segment for EWTN that will air in the near future. He will return with his
daily meditations on Wednesday. His condition continues to improve. In
the meantime we ask you to continue to pray. - Joesph Campo

Hi Father Groeschel: I'm so happy you were able to be a part of the Corpus Christi procession on this special day.Our Pastor told us that the Holy Father is making Oct. 2004 until Oct 2005, the year of the Eucharist. Hopefully you will give more reflections on the Eucharist and oh yes Father, grace Actual and Sanctifying Grace. The young folks don't really know too much on these subjects. I save your messages and show them to my children and grandchildren. You are in my prayers. - Patricia, Avon, Ohio
Dear Father Benedict, Your accident helps me once again try to accept that God's ways are not our ways. I am grateful that you are fighting your way back to health as an example for me and all of your fans. Your accident reminds me that these "tests" and sufferings are an opportunity calling each of us to come up a little higher in our spiritual lives. May you climb to the highest place in the kingdom. Love and prayers, - Linda, White Stone, Virginia
Fr. Groeschel, I absolutely love your books and meditations, especially the first one that you wrote on the Rosary. I was just sitting here planning a pity party for myself, as my day progressed and I started to feel gloomy. A friend forwarded what you said today, and I just read what you said about being grateful for what we had and for what we have, even when it is taken away. Those are words I needed to hear again today. May God continue to richly bless you, In Christ, - Claudia, Washington, D.C
As a fellow Irish woman, grandma's quips were always sage and right on the money!! Seriously though, I am praying for you through this recovery process. "They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength." - Jane, Columbus, Ohio (a former New Yorker!)
Hi Father, I think you and the brothers have a great idea of putting daily messages on the website. Because of you Father Benedict and another Gentleman, I have returned to my Roman Catholic faith. Thank you and God Bless you. - Susan, Dorchester, Mass.
Good morning Fr. Benedict! To make a long story short, at 1am the other morning, I realized we were going to have a frost, and needed to take several heavy plants into my greenhouse for the night. I stiffly and sorely got up, discouraged and whiny, but did my duty! When I got outside and looked up, I realized there was no moon, and the stars were a beauty to behold. The milky way was directly overhead, and I found my self crying out to the Father "thank you Father, for showing me such a sight!" (One I havent' really enjoyed for quite a few years.)Sometimes slow is better! Love, - Marie, Wilton, Maine
Dear Fr. Benedict: Wonderful news. This web site has
been such a help for so many. And it's wonderful to hear that you are getting
around even if it is with a cane! I have a suggestion how about a 'Dear Benedict'
column. I can already pose a question. This evening our son's girlfriend suggested
that she would like to visit when our son does. The problem? They are living
together, both in their 50's. My husband welcomed her. When he told me I said
where are they going to sleep? We have one guest room. He thinks that is ok
but I don't feel comfortable with that arrangement. See after 57 years of marriage
there are still disagreements. We need a Catholic dear abbey, other suggestion:
a column about common Catholic problems and the Church's teaching. We trust
you and your Friars. May He continue to bless and heal you, - Janice, Palm Desert,
California
