Dear friends of Fr. Benedict,
From
Trinity Retreat
Friday July 23, 2004
Our Divine Savior prayed that all would be one, and He
prayed for the salvation of the world. We who hope to be His followers could
do nothing better than to pray for the salvation of all the world. He sent the
apostles out to the very ends of the earth, and although He Himself had only
preached to the children of Israel, He made it clear that His followers were
to preach to the whole world. For whom, then, should we pray? For everyone.
Every day at Mass after Holy Communion I recite the beautiful prayer Anima Christi:
“Soul of Christ, be my salvation. Body of Christ, be my sanctification.”
I always say this prayer for everyone. The soul of Our Divine Savior Jesus Christ
can be the salvation of the whole world. Jesus says, “I did not come to
judge the world but to save the world” (John 12:47). Let us pray everyday
that as many people as possible will be saved and enter the kingdom of God.
Let us continue to pray for each other!
Father Benedict

Dear Fr. Benedict, Thank you! I LOVE reading your books. I red "Arise from Darkness" when you were in the hospital and my father was dying. It was so helpful. Now I am reading "Listening at Prayer". Your web sight has been so deep and helpful to me. In visiting the sick you taught me a lot. Now I have changed my whole approach. Although I took a woman to the Emergency room on Monday and I was so nervous that I kept talking. Please spend time encouraging us to silence and the power of silence. You are in our Evening Prayers. We just had our garden consecrated as a "Walking Rosary Garden" Our Love, - Chris and Cas,
Dear Father Benedict, Thank you for informing me about your books available via the website. I will take at them during my free time (a scarce commodity). I know God would be proud of your stewardship in helping the poor children and those in need as you describe. Thank you, again. Sincerely, - Maureen,
Dear Father: I had the pleasure of meeting you a few years ago at EWTN. I was blessed to have "sat in" on one of your series taping, I've read most of your books and previously ordered "The Good Friday" video. I will be more than happy to review your website to see what's new. The wisdom you provide through your books, videos, and tapes is a small investment to make considering the abundant spiritual benefits, not to mention that the proceeds will benefit Christ in the poor. Please be assured of my continued prayers for you, the friars, the sisters, and your staff. What a mighty work you are all doing in His name! - Sally,
Dear Father Benedict; I cannot tell you how happy and grateful I am to see that you are feeling a wee bit better. I first met you in Staten Island when I made the journey from New Jersey to attend the Spiritual classes there for two years. It was just wonderful and I learned a great deal there especially from you, for that I thank Our Lord. I am a married mother of five boys (now men) a wonderful husband, in recovery (AA) for 30 years, one of those Charismatic. At present I am now recovering from a serious operation for the 5th time in 4 years. However I really feel blessed because I have learned so much from each adversity, most of all how to love, finally. Anyway, enough of me. How are you getting along? I try to keep up on your progress over the net, wonderful thing the internet. I do love your books and happy that I know where to go for your books, thank you. Please continue to improve. You are in my daily prayers and I really do love you. Blessings, - Maureen,
Dear Fr. Benedict .- Thanks you for writing, I like every one of your books, but as I live in the republic of Mexico, I will try to get some of them through one of my sisters who lives in Florida. My family is a large one, six brothers and 4 sisters. Let us continue to pray for each other Yoya. Guadalajara, - Jalisco, Mexico
Dear Father Benedict, It's funny how God has a way of connecting you with where you need to be if you are only searching for the right answer. Just yesterday, I was thinking about you and wanted to check and see about your progress. But I could not find the website. I did a search and came up with several Franciscan Friar websites, but not your order. So I moved on to other things. The next day, I get an email. Well if that's not God helping, I don't know what is. The email suggests that I look into purchasing your books. Well I have not read any of your books but have absolutely never been disappointed in any of your messages on EWTN. So I have 2 questions for you tonight. 1. What book would you suggest for a person who is seeking a spiritual direction? 2. What book/tape would you suggest as a gift for a person who is currently going through a divorce and has not been an active catholic for many years? Thanks for your input, God Bless. - Randa,
Dear Father Groeschel, Thank you for reminding me that even though we believe we are the true church, God loves all of His children. I think that sometimes my strong beliefs and passion about our faith can make me narrow-minded, and it is humbling to be reminded that God loves, and wants salvation for, all of us. Thank you so much for continuing your work through this website. PS. - It was great to hear from Father Glenn via the website. Back in the beginning, he was our only link to you, and he did an awesome job keeping us informed of your progress. Through his love for the Church and you, I can tell he is a beautiful human being. - Ramona, Orlando, Florida
