Advent is a time of longing for the coming of Christ and His Kingdom. The coming of Jesus can be understood in three ways: past, present and future. Yes, He did come two thousand years ago in His Incarnation. He always is coming with His grace. He will come again at the end of time to judge the living and the dead. We will all be there - get ready!

Why should we care if He comes? When He arrives on the scene, things change.
God becomes man.
He becomes living water.
Water becomes wine.
Wine becomes blood.
His blood becomes our drink.
We become His irrigation in the desert.
Death becomes new life.
Mourning becomes unending joy.
Enemies become brothers.
War becomes peace.
Sinners become saints.
This is how things will "be-"
                  when He      "-comes"

This will be fulfilled completely in Heaven where there will be no more sin, sickness, sadness or death. Until then His Kingdom is growing like a mustard seed in our daily lives. His Kingdom, that "place" where Jesus has dominion as King, is not geographical - it is cardial, every heart given to Him. Let us irrigate His living water and radiate His life-giving light. Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!

God bless you!
