Dear Father Benedict, I just want you to know I had been away from the Church for 35 years, and now I have come back, thanks to your down-to earth manner. I have watched you on ewtn for the past year, Mon. thru Fri. I still am. I am praying very hard for you. Know that you played a MAJOR ROLE in saving this poor soul. God bless you, and I wish you a full recovery.- Sue, Manchester, New Hampshire

Dear Father, You may not know it, but you have many Anglican Catholic friends who are praying for your speedy recovery, and for Mother A. as well. We need you. - Michael

Welcome home Fr. Benedict! Know that all the Daughters of St Paul are praying for your complete recovery! I check in every day to see your progress and give thanks to God at each bit of good news. Hang in there!!! In Jesus. - Sr. Bridget, Boston, Massachusetts

GLORIOSKI !!! Thanks be to GOd Our Father, and Our Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful Father Groeschel, that you are back home where you are happiest. Someone once told me that if you're from New York City, even if you're Catholic, you're Jewish. It's true, and Thanks be to God for that connection. I used to work at Bethany Convent in Framingham, Ma., and a little old Jewish man used to come in to visit someone, and he asked me if he could "maybe sit in the chapel and make a (spelling lacking) ba-rucka" - was it okay, cause he was Jewish. My reply was, "Bill, ALL the Big Names in the Chapel are Jewish; Jesus, Mary, Joseph - you're welcome with open arms in there" And so he went. Thousands upon thousands continue to storm Heaven for you Father Dear, pray for us too. - Marsha, Framingham, Massachusetts

Greetings to Fr Benedict and the Friars from Liverpool, England. God bless you and keep you Fr Benedict. God has done great things through you and your wonderful friars, he still has much for you all to do. I assure you Father of my continued prayers and thoughts God Bless you and now and always. - Craig, United Kingdom

Please could you forward this to Rabbi David? Dear Rabbi David, I know many people have justified hatred of the Jewish people with the name of Christianity, and for this please forgive us. I count myself very blessed because I was able to visit a synagogue with some Jewish friends recently. Please believe me when I say that my love for Jesus has done nothing but give me a love for Jewish people, and a deep desire to understand more deeply how God has blessed all nations of the earth through you. I will pray for you, and humbly ask that you would for me too. - Rosemary, Ireland

Dear Fr Ben, We will be celebrating our one year anniversary as Bl Miguel Pro Oratory of Divine Love on March 4 with Holy Mass in thanksgiving for you and for the oratory. The Cleffi’s are doing a great job keeping us going but we need you back at the helm!! We are praying for the intersession of St Catherine of Genoa to protect you and all the C.F.R. May the Lord put His Hand upon you and bless you.- Rosemary and Bob, Rochester, NY

"For the man who hit me". Fr. Benedict, that is just what I have been longing to hear. That is what I have prayed for a couple of times. Yes, for the man who hit you. Who knows what he is going through? At last you have placed your finger on the spot, "the man who hit you". Sure your healing would hasten. I envy your faith. - Fr. Dufe, Cameroon

Oh dear friend...so many tears! Tears of gratitude, tears of pain, tears of deep, deep prayer as we are drawn down into the mystery of suffering...your suffering united with His. And,as always, when we allow ourselves sink so deeply into the Mystery of the Cross....we come out simply drenched with His Love. In each of the countless moments of the day that we pause pray for you we ask Him to ease the pain of whatever thorn or nail that needs to be soothed at that moment. Truly, we desire to bear this pain with you.In teaching us how to bear His pain...you have taught us the way. Thank You! WE love you! - Irene & Paul, Farmingdale, New York

Fr. B-I had the privilege of viewing "The Passion" last night in the company of many of your sons and daughters. It was a true franciscan night with the passion of our sweet Lord so powerfully shown and I could hear many, many franciscan tears (mine included) being shed throughout. Now I know how our father Francis could go blind from crying over the passion. He must have SEEN what we saw last night. Pray that we all can keep his sacrifice always in our minds and hearts. We love you here in New Jersey. Praise God you are able to suffer with Him this Lent. Peace. - Kathleen, Summit, New Jersey
