Hello dear Father Ben, today in France we celebrate Notre Dame de Lourdes, and in the world it's the sick people prayer day! This morning I attended mass in the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, where we went together some years ago. You were obviously in my prayers and I put you in Mary's hands you remember how they are wide opened to receive all what we can put in them! I pray for you and your Brothers. They are so wonderfull and it's so good to be abble to get news over the ocean everyday! And to see you and to hear you... what a great job they did! Thank you all the Brothers who take care of that!- Hélène, France

Dear Fr. Benedict, Even in this condition you continue to inspire people. You always encourage us to abandon ourselves to Divine Providence. I think some day you will write a new commentary on de Caussade! The habit of the cross has filled your life. Now, it is your home more than ever! I pray for you and remember you at Mass. Ave crux, spes unica! Fraternally. - Andrew, Ridgewood, New York

Dear Father Benedict, I having been watching EWTN mass every evening after work with my husband, and we were sad to hear about the accident. Please be assured that we are lifting you up to our Lord Almighty, and his blessed mother, to fill you with peace and help you recover and continue your awesome work in spreading God's word. May you be filled with peace, courage and Love. We continue to pray for you in our evening prayers. With prayers and God Bless!- Elizabeth, Switzerland

I belong to an Oratory of Divine Love in New Orleans (many thanks to you for starting this Oratory). I also was recently hospitalized and wanted you to know that I offered my pain and suffering to God for you in addition to other intentions. I know the merits of suffering. God holds you very close to Himself. - Linda, Arabi, Loisiana

Dear Father Benedict, We are praying for you every day and night. Our mom checks the web site first thing in the morning while we're getting ready for school and tells us how you are doing. We like to see your video too. We hope you get better real soon because you are very famous in doing God's work. Our mom really loves you and watches you on EWTN all the time. Our dad says she is addicted to your teaching! We hope God blesses you and makes you well very fast. - Chris and Karen, Bensalem, Pennslyvania

Dear Fr. Benedict, I pray for you everyday, whether it is in mass or a rosary, I pray for your breathing to get better, step by step. During your journey to better health, I know you are anxious to get back to helping others and preaching the good news of the Lord. In the meantime, I have realized that I too must do the same. So as another type of prayer of intercession for you, I am doing ministries such as speaking at confirmation retreats and praying with and for others. I am so happy that our prayers here at Franciscan University have been working for you. Pax Christi Jen St. Francis and Clare of Assisi.... Pray for us - Jen, Steubenville, Ohio

Dear Father Benedict, Just wanted to let you know that you are daily in our thoughts and prayers. We pray for your continued recovery. Our autistic, epileptic, asthmatic, and attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder 15 year old son prays for you each night in his prayers for Father Benedict to get well soon, God Bless you - Lisa, Elyria, Ohio

Dear Fr. Benedict - You are so much loved by so many here in Australia. Our prayers are with you. - Marie, Australia

Dear Father, You have been in my prayers everyday. I believe you have been chosen to suffer for Terri Schiavo (sp?) in the Clearwater, Tampa area, because you are physically only a few miles from her. - Trudy, Independence, Ohio

Dearest Father Benedict, We thank the Lord for the healing you have received thus far, and look forward to a complete recovery for our "trooper" for Christ. My 4 yr. old daughter, Emma and I check this site every day and continue to pray for your recovery. She refers to you as "Father B" in her sweetest prayers for you. How well God listens to our prayers. Your recovery is certainly evidence of the love he has for us. I wept at the "Passion of Christ" movie. I will never again take for granted the suffering of Our Lord, ever. May your cross not be too heavy, and your burden light. As your body heals, I pray for your continued faith in God and His plan for you, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Peace to you! - Mary, Hampton, New Hampshire

Dear Fr. Benedict, I am so joyously happy to hear you spend a whole day off the respirator. For Lent I have given up my favorite delight of chocolate and asked God to make it difficult so that I may offer up the sacrifice so you would get off the ventilator. He has not delayed in answering my prayer!!! Praise God for such generousity. I pray that you continue to heal and God will free you to fully breath on your own. - Kelly, Baltimore, Maryland

Send your greetings to Fr. Benedict
