PRAYER FOR A PRO-LIFE SUPREME COURT JUSTICE

Come to our aid, O God of the universe!
God, the Father of mercies and the source of all consolation,
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
God, our Father, who art in heaven,
God the lover of humankind and knower of our hearts!
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God,
Word of God, Word made flesh
Faithful Witness and Firstborn of the dead,
Ruler of the kings of the earth,
The Way, the Truth and the Life,
The Bread of Life,
Who alone have the words of everlasting life,
Savior of the world!
Holy and life-giving Spirit,
Holy Spirit of God,
Lord and Giver of Life
Consoler and Spirit of truth!
We beg you to illumine the minds and convict the hearts of the President and Senators of the United States, and everyone else involved in the process of selection, to bring about the nomination and confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice who will truly respect and defend the invaluable and inviolable gift of each human life created in Your image, redeemed by Your blood, destined to be sanctified by Your grace and to share eternal life and intimate communion with You.
