Dear friends of Fr. Benedict,

Today is Sunday, March 7. Fr. Glenn will return on Wednesday with the latest update on Fr. Benedict. Tonight were posting some emails.

Dear Fr. Benedict, We have been praying for you since the accident. You have been such an inspiration to our family and to many of our friends. We remember the first time we heard you speak on EWTN and you gave us such a good witness not only by your profound words but by the life that you are living which is a reflection of Jesus. We know that your daily prayers are very specail to God and we ask you to please recommend our family and our intentions to Jesus and Mary. - Richard & Loretta, Canada

Dear Fr Glenn and Friars, Enjoy reading your updates as they are informative and humorous. Like your idea about a movie on St. Francis. I am a secular franciscan and maybe, just maybe, a movie might awaken the world about this man of peace. Dear Fr. B. I pray for you daily. You are in my prayers at Mass, remembered at Holy Communion, the rosary, and I have HOPE in GOD that HE will make you well. And so I continue to pray. - Bernice, Cresson, Pennsylvania

Dear Father: just read the update on you today, March 7th. Thank God you are getting better. We are so greatful to the Lord we don't want to loose you, as you are such an inspiration to us all. We look forward to see your smiling face again on EWTN at a mass, but right now we can turn in to EWTN and see your smiling face on the Lenten mini series. Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU AND MAKE YOU WELL. - Edwin and Beverly, Tabor, South Dekota

Dear Father Benedict, You are a Priest's Priest whose humble and inspired words of wisdom continue to save soul's. May God Bless You, - Brian,Sugarloaf, Pennslyvania

Dear Father I was glad to hear that you made progress and was off the respirator for a day. As a nurse I know how difficult that was. Please keep up your courage we need your presence in our lives. May God and His Blessed Mother fill your lungs with the breath of life so we can be privileged to hear your words again in the near future. - Rosemary, Malverne, New York

Dear Father Benedict, We students studying here in Europe have just returned from a pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi. Being in St. Francis' hometown was a very powerful and yet peaceful experience. I just wanted to let you know that I prayed for you and your community (and all Franciscans) at the tomb of St. Francis. Thank you for your beautiful witness of living St. Francis' charism of active love. God bless you! - A Steubenville Student, Austria

Greeting and THANK YOU to all Franciscan Friars caring for Fr. Benedict.I will pray for you Fr. Glenn, especially, this week for a blessed time in your"upstate hermitage"....A big THANK YOU also to the talented web site masters who do the daily posts. God bless one and all. Fr. Benedict, I still will offer all the "good, bad, and ugly" in my days for your continued healing; thank you for a wonderful, powerful lesson in suffering my pitifully little woes! - Carolyn, Tacoma, Washington

Dear Father Benedict-Tonight our parish begins a lenten novena to the Holy Spirit. I'd almost decided not to attend at all because I have said many novenas in the past and it seems God is often not listening. But then it occurred to me that perhaps it's because all of my intentions have been for myself. Then I thought about you Father, and all your suffering and decided I will do this novena, not for myself but for you. I pray for your full recovery and for your return to us that need your help so much. - Marlene, Des Moines, Indiana

It's so wonderful to receive the updates on Father Benedict's health. Fr. "B" has a vast audience, and I am one of them. It is because of Fr. "B" and Mother Angelica that I am a convert to the Catholic faith. The richness of the Mass is just awesome. May our Lord continue to bless Fr. "B" - the Lord knows how much his audience loves him. God Bless all the Friars and their dedication. - Joy, Virginia

How amazing the work Father Benedict can do from a hospital bed! I, for one will support your petition and I urge others to do so. I pray that the movie will bring millions of people to Jesus!! Father Benedict, know that you are loved by many. May Jesus continue to bless your presense and continue to pour out His tender, healing mercies!! - Debbie, Netcong, New Jersey

My own poor prayers are lovingly offered for you. From an old student and admirer. God speed your recovery. - Deacon Tom,Rotterdam, New York

Dear Father Groeschel, Ofcourse I am praying for your recovery, so you can write more wonderful books bringing us closer to God. I stumbled upon Spiritual Passages a few years ago (or maybe it stumbled upon me) and it has been second to the Bible ever since. More recently, your book on The Rosary has been a wonderful help in my meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary. I just hope in my litttle, quiet non-descript life I can do something to help build up the kingdom of God. - Monica, Hyde Park, New York

Send your greetings to Fr. Benedict
