Father Benedict, Thank you so much for being a model of a true servant. You have taught me so much, especailly during this Lent by your example, I have learned to embrace Jesus's suffering through trial. Get Well Soon! :) - Amanda, Atchison, Kansas
I rejoice for all of you that 12 Novices are now newly professed. As a Franciscan, may I welcome you and wish you His peace and all that is good! I continue to pray for Fr. Benedict, whom I've known since 1958... he's my brother too. I pray that his elbow will be healed completely and that all injuries will be stabilized soon. And please tell everyone, I've experienced the power of God in a most special healing...Prayer works, folks! Keep praying like a child... Jesus and Mary love you so. - Fred, Vero Beach, Florida
Dear Father Groeschel, My prayers are with you today and every day. You have inspired me and were instrumental in my recent conversion to Catholicism. How can I ever thank you enough for answering God's call to you to serve. Blessings and blessings on you. - Susan, Sammamish, Washington
I offer every ache and pain that I might feel during the day or evening for you Father and for Mother Angelica. We're so blessed to still be able to see your program on Sunday night. I don't mind watching them over. I made a day retreat with you last year at the House of Prayer. All I can say to you is what my Mother always said to me instead of goodbye, Love you, love you, love you. - Mary, Holiday, Florida
Dear Fr. Benedict, 'just returned home from my peace- and grace-filled hour (12-1AM) of adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and I wanted to let you know that your continued recovery was a specifically mentioned intention. I'm continually amazed at the love that is seen in all of the e-mailed notes to you. It is also a joy to see the thanksgiving that all your fans express in so many beautiful ways - thanksgiving for how you facilitate relationships with Jesus. Please continue to fight the good fight, take care of yourself, and may your situation be manifested in all things that are one with the presence of The Holy Spirit. God bless, eric. PS Fr. Glenn is an excellent writer, as is evident by the concise and informative updates. - Eric, Santa Cruz, California
Dear Father Groeschel, Someone in Kabul, Afghanistan is praying for you, me! Im a pediatrician working for Red Cross here and each night at 6pm there is a mass at the Italian Embassy and I pray for you then. without you knowing, you are family, friend and mentor to me and have brought me closer to Jesus and His mother. If it be God's will, may you be our teacher for many years to come. - Kevin, Baltimore, Maryland
Fr. Benedict has the whole world as his classroom now, and he is preaching eloquently through his love of God in all circumstances. And he is eloquently humble, his pure love is shining through, and he is in my every prayer. Love in Our Lady, - Joanie, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina
I am praying for you Father, You were very inturmental in my formation to enter the Catholic Church. I cam into the church on the feast day of Corpus Christi 2002. Thank you for your witness and life. - Steven, East Lansing, Missiouri
Dr. Fr. Benedict, Our love and prayers to you.....You are going through your Good Friday but know that your Easter will come!!!!Please remember us in prayers and we are doing the same for you. Fr., you are an inspiration to us! - Dr.M, Winchester, Massachusetts
Dear Father Glen, Thank you for your tireless efforts to keep us informed and "bedside" with Fr. Benedict as he heals. Please forgive me, but I disagree with you when you say that Fr. Benedict is a teacher with no classroom. He is a teacher par excellence! His message cannot be contained by four walls. He continues to instruct us still, in his silent eloquence, following St. Francis' directive: "Preach the Gospel and if necessary, use words." I am still learning from our precious Fr. Benedict as he works on his recovery. We continue to keep your entire order in our prayers. You are a wonderful light in a bleak world. Love in Christ. - Susan, Charles Town, Wyoming
