Dear Brother John Paul, Thank you for your letter to us all; you have reminded us so beautifully of the love that surrounded Christ on the cross, our Blessed Mother, and Saint John. It was God's love, and His love enveloped Jesus, Mary, and Saint John in that moment of Jesus' final suffering on the cross at Calvary. You have also reminded us of how Saint Joseph trusted God and of how he cared for Mary and for Jesus. God bless you and please know that you and all of the friars are in my prayers. As I watched the Easter Sunday Mass during the day on EWTN from Saint Peter's Square, I was moved to tears of joy as I saw our dear Holy Father, all of the faithful at Holy Mass that were present there, and Cardinal Ratzinger. What a Tradition we have in our one, true Roman Catholic faith!! The Mass was beautiful- filled with the joy of the Resurrection and with the graces of the Holy Spirit. Our faith tells us that when we worthily receive Jesus in Holy Communion (one of the seven sacraments) in a state of sanctifying grace, which is possible by going to confession (another one of the seven sacraments of our Church), that we are all "in Communion" with one another! And together, with God's grace, we can literally move mountains. We can help those in need, we can make positive change in our world, we can be a people TOGETHER building a culture of life. I was reminded of these simple, beautiful treasures as I listened to the words during Mass and watched on EWTN.God bless you again for your beautiful message to us! As each of us travels on our own "road to Emmaus", let us keep our eyes and our hearts open to receive and recognize Christ so that we will bring Him to all those that we meet! We are the light of the world! Yahweh, I know you are near- standing always at my side! Be not afraid!! Sincerely,- Patrick, Wisconsin
Dear Father Groechel, I'm happy to be able to see & hear you on EWTN. You give me inspiration and spiritual guidance GOD bless you. Today, all of us who LOVE and adore Jesus weep for him and the church, with the death of sweet Terri. I have faith in knowing that she has brought people back to praying. GOD bless her today and always. Yours in Christ + Anne DiBisceglie
