Dear Fr. Glenn, what a wonderful meditation on St. Francis and his teaching to the friars on humility. Being a Secular Franciscan myself, this message spoke to me very powerfully. I think humility has to be one of the most difficult virtues to acquire, whether a person is a Secular Franciscan or not. Our human 'fallen' nature makes it very difficult to serve others as we should. I pray every day that God grant me a 'servant's heart'. What a great gift God has given us in all of you. Through this website, we have such a wonderful opportunity to learn from you so many ways to grow in our spiritual lives, and it feels like we can almost reach out and touch you, almost as if we are all in the same room, like we all know each other personally. Who knows maybe one day, if it be God's will, we may have the privilege of meeting you all face to face. What a wonderful thought! P.S. Fr. Ben, your new video on the Holy Spirit is awesome!
