Thanks for your words on vocation, Father Glenn.  It is a stern reminder to me as a parent to stop being hot and cold in my faith.  My children love to hear about our faith and pray, but sometimes my husband and I are too "lazy, tired, busy, etc" to spend time with them in prayer, while other times it seems like we can't stop talking about it.  It saddens me when my oldest son (who by the way is extremely spiritual for a 10 yr. old) has to ask me to please say prayers with him before bed, and sometimes I just don't feel like it.  What a terrible message I am sending him.  I can't always assume that my children will know better.  It is our responsibility as parents to foster their faith.  Thank you, Father, for giving me yet another reality check. Many times I know what I need to do, but I just need someone to give me a "gentle" reminder!
