Hello Father Glenn: I am so happy that you have the opportunity to help write our daily messages to U.S...(.not to diminish the grand works of our beloved Father Ben.) But, all of the Friars have different GIFTS of the Holy Spirit that you bring to us, through your writings. I am referring to the different writing styles, which originate from your basic personalities etc. What grand gifts! Every day is a "surprise" here at the website.....As you vividly indicated to us, Martha and Mary are certainly two gals that we can all relate to ...I feel the best kept secret of the Bible is that everyone associates it with what was written 2000 years ago. Actually, it all STILL happens today! From social evils to personal sorrows and suffering...we CAN relate to every page of that Bible. For those non- readers ....Proverbs, and, the Book of Wisdom have much to offer the "seeking soul", and all of the Letter of Paul relate to any city in the World today. Thank you again for making those eternal words alive for us ! - Jacqueline, N. Y.

Dear Fr. Benedict, Fr. Glenn and all involved with the web page, Thank you so much for continuing to give us your words of wisdom and daily homilies. I check them almost every morning around 7:30 a.m. after getting the kids off to school and before heading to Mass, school (I am a student myself seeking a Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling), or whatever else the days holds for me. Your words send me off each day with peace and an awareness of the presence of Christ in my life. I can't thank you enough for your lives of faithful service to our Lord and his people. My only wish is that there was a community of CFR's in Columbus, Ohio. What joy that would be for us! You are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers. God bless you abundantly. - Mary,

Dear Fr. Glenn, Your message about Martha has put into words feelings I thought would blow yesterday off, so I spent 4 hours away from the house. I went to Coney Island Beach which was deserted but beautiful, then a coffee shop, then ended my "mini -retreat" in an Adoration Chapel. We've been having company quite often to visit my sick father. No matter what I do the house never seems neat and my cooking doesn't improve even with the easiest cookbooks. I know this all sounds so trivial. I never thought stuff like this would bother me, but now I'm determined to do something like that everyday, to get out for at least 2 hours. Thank you for reminding me. - Kathleen, NY

Fr. Glenn, Oct.5th message right on. I have nothing specific other than that but I should add that the messages have kept my interest. Job well done, God Bless you all and may the Holy Spirit continue as your guide. Thank you, - Ed, R.I.
