Dear Fr. Glenn.- With God's help and your prayers, we are going to try and live life his way, we are willing to see Fr. Benedict on sundays. In Guadalajara the Eucharistic Congress just begin, we enjoyed almost every event by EWTN. Let us continue to pray for each other. - Yoya, Mexico
Dear Father Benedict, Father Glenn, and the Friars, I am writing to you because I feel so moved by your witness in the world. Ever since I first saw Father Benedict speak on EWTN I have had a deep love for him and for your order. I don't know what it is, except to say that when I see you and hear you, I want to cry tears of joy. I am normally not an emotional person, but I can feel something move deep in my soul. I love how you tell it like it is. I feel a strong desire to "be like you". To be a sign that points to Christ in a world filled with anti-Christ's. To help the poor. To renounce materialism. To be like the REAL St. Francis. However, I know God has not called me to be a friar. I am a husband and father of two beautiful girls (so far) and I know this is my true vocation, but I feel some connection to the Friars which I do not understand. I want to know that I am doing God's will for my life. I can't find a good spiritual director here locally (besides my wife, God bless her). Please pray for my discernment and I will continue to prayerfully discern as well. I continue to support you both prayerfully and financially because I feel your work is so important and your witness is priceless. God Bless. - Michael, Minneapolis, MN P. S. I just shook hands with Father Glenn in Fargo. Tell him, Father Apostoli, and Father Groeschel we love them. Please come back in 2006. I am counting on it. Also, I continually pray for Father Groeschel's health.
I have just returned from the Marian Eucharistic Congress in Fargo,
ND. What a wonderfully inspiring weekend. Thank you Fr. Glenn Sudano, Fr. Andrew
Apostoli, and to Fr. Benedict for his video presentation. There were other great
speakers also.
It is an intensive and physically tiring weekend but the spiritual value is
priceless. My hope is the graces gained from this weekend will inspire all Catholics
to a better understanding of our beautiful faith. I thank God daily for my Catholic
faith & hope & pray for many conversions in this Eucharistic year given
to us by our Holy Father, Pope John Paul 11.
God Bless you all! - Betty, Cayuga, North Dakota
Dear Lordship, Just a brief note to say Thank You to the Franciscan
Friars of the Renewal, for their truly wonderful
program at the National Shrine of Martyrs at Auriseville. I was very fortunate
to be able to attend and take part in the entire Rosary Rally program. I look
forward to many more. I pray for your continued recovery and God's choicest
blessings. You and the Friars are in my prayers daily. Pax et Bonum, - Joe,
