Dear Father Glenn,
What a moving and touching story about the reception of the 12 young men into your community. I believe that this is further proof of God blessing the faithful orders of within our church with much needed vocations. I truly believe that your order is an example of the thousand seeds sprouting. God bless all of you and especially these young men in formation. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Fr. Herald - Thank you for your very insightful message of Sept.16. It's one we need to hear often. There have been many times in my life that I have been truly one of Christ's "lost sheep", and, I think, if we are really honest with ourselves, we really don't ever "have it together" or "fit in"! Our daily struggles to overcome our sinful inclinations should prove to us just how far away we are. We need to put our efforts into trying to meet our own standards instead of judging others whom we feel aren't measuring up. Like the gospel passage says - we need to work at taking the log out of our own eye before taking the speck out of our neighbour's eye. What a different world this would be if we started living the Christians virtues the way we should. Let us all pray for one another. Your sister in Christ, Michelle, SFO, Canada

Thank You Fr. Benedict for the article on Dorothy Day. Our parish is having a special celebration this fall in honor of her. She was actually baptized in our parish, which is Our Lady Help of Christians in Tottenville, Staten Island. My dear friend who is a writer was one of the people who fought so hard a few years ago to preserve the cottage where Dorothy Day lived and worked here on Staten Island in Spanish Camp. Unfortunately, the cottage was demolished along with all the others when the builders bulldozer came and razed everything there. Thanks again Fr. Ben, for writing about a wonderful woman "saint".
Regards,
Joan, Staten Island, NY
