Dear Fr. Sudano,
Your history lesson on the garb of the Friars was most interesting and I passed it along to my friends and family. I am learning a little bit everyday reading your website. Now, everytime I go out for a latte or cappacchino, it will be yet another reminder for me to think of my son and of all the Friars and to say another little prayer for all of you. God bless the friars helping in Lousiana. Peace.
Thank you,
Sandy A.

Interesting column (Sep 21) regarding the colors of the friars' habits. We live within 20 miles of the Capuchin monastery in Detroit and am very familiar with their brown habits. In fact, they have a display of Fr Solanus Casey's habit and miscellaneous items that he used when he lived there. I didn't realize that your order was an off-shoot of the Capuchins. ...Nancy in Michigan

Dear Father Glenn and Friars,

As I drink my cappuchino colored coffee, I am enjoying the photos of the reception of your new member and the delightful explanation you give of the color you wear as “Grigio’s”. A big welcome to Fr. Gregorio and blessings on you all. A sister in Christ.
