DEAR Fr Ben, I watched your new program with such interest on Sunday. I have been praying with a discerning soul regarding the election. I so fear what has been happening in our country and how blind our fellow catholic christians have been to all that is going on. WHEN YOU MENTIONED THAT OUR INACTION WAS EXACTLY WHAT EVERYONE ALLOWED FOR HILTER. We have consciously allowed the liberal press and society the right to chose for us. We need to be more vocal and not afraid to be heard nor seen even if it doesn't make everyone else comfortable .I had made up my mind as to whom I WAS VOTING FOR PRIOR TO YOUR PROGRAM BUT YOU ONLY VERIFIED MY CONSCIOUS CHOICE THANK YOU FATHER CATHY FROM UPSATE NEW YORK
Dear Father Sudano, Thank you so much for sharing with us the need to relieve
ourselves from all the "noise"
in our daily lives. We may not be able to leave our families for a hermitage,
but we can turn off the sounds around us for a week. No TV, no radio, limit
phone calls, limit long conversations, go for walks outdoors away from people,
and read spiritual inspirations. "In silence, God speaks all languages."
What is God trying to tell me that I'm so busy I don't even take the time to
listen? It's got to be important! Pace e bene - Donna, SFO
Glad to see you on EWTN Sunday night. Hang in there-we love you and have learned much from your teachings and insights. Francis McCabe Chief Court Services Officer First Judicial Circuit Court.
Dear Father Benedict and Friends, Sunday's premier was everything I expected and more. I think I spent the first fifteen minutes crying. I had to get a new box of Kleenex to contain my blubbering. If I ever gain control of my emotions, I may have a question when you get to the topic of the Holy Eucharist. In the meantime, though, I leave the phone lines open for the people you need to teach before the elections. The only place I hear the truth about abortion is on EWTN. I pray this will change for all of us, soon, and I know that you are all God's beautiful instruments helping to make this happen. Father, you ARE beautiful on television - not to give you a big head, or anything - but your inner beauty, your love for God and His Creation - they make you absolutely gorgeous! God bless you! - Julie, Mesa, AZ
Hi Father Benedict; I enjoyed very much the, "From the Friars" stories
and read them to my eleven year old son. I also told him about a miracle that
happened to me today. I was at my Holy Hour today from eleven to twelve asking
the Lord to help me gather more teens into my youth group and to get them back
to church. At 1:15 a lady who I met at the grocery store, came over and asked
if I had the youth group and would I like to have my name sent to the Poor Clare's
so they would pray for me and the group itself. She worked with the Poor Clare's
in British Columbia and explained that one would be assigned to me to reassure
me of their prayers. I immediately started to laugh and looked at my watch explaining
to her what had happened and how GOD works very fast! I enjoy your website very
much and I thank you for your great ideas that I will use at my youth group
sessions. Sincerely, - Angela,
