Dear Father Glenn, Thank you for that beautiful prayer. My friends and I are now fasting to try and add a prayer that is 24/7 to our daily prayers. Never before in our lives have we felt the need to pray without ceasing. May God bless and keep you always. - Charlotte, Chariton, Iowa
Father Benedict, Father Sudano and all the brothers of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. It was a joy filled hour on Sunday to see Father Benedict and to have visual image of a miracle in front of me on TV. I am so thankful to our Lord for his love and mercy. I also want to thank God for all the wonderful vocations and the men and women who are "serving the poor" while wearing the gray. I was honored and blessed to be present at a four day mission that the Friars gave to our parish here in CT. The immense out pouring of the Holy Spirit and the sacrifice made by all the members of the Friars team was engraved on my heart. Sometimes words can not express what happens when servants of God give of themselves and you really truly want them to know that they changed your life and the lives of others forever. God Bless each and everyone of you and God Bless your ministries. Sincerely, - Kathy, in CT
Hello Fr. B, I very much enjoyed the video about the Holy Spirit. I missed the new program on Sunday ..I hope EWTN runs it again! Blessings, - Barbara, Detroit, Mich.
Dear Father Glenn, I love ALL the message on the website and am so grateful for the sacrifices you and the Friars are making for the good of our souls. Your beautiful prayer on the 26th made me feel very hopeful in these dark times. So much blessing and good has come as a result of Father Benedict’s accident that it is hard to take them all in! Why am I surprised? Jesus saved us by His death on the cross. No pain, no gain, as they say. Father Benedicts suffering has brought about incalculable graces and blessings for people around the world. You are all part of it, because you suffered so much with him and for the good of all of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know many extra burdens fell upon you to make this all possible for the good of our souls and spirits. God bless you, - Mary,
Thank you , Father Glenn, for the prayer today asking God to have mercy on
our nation. In all my years, I have never seen anything like this election campaign.
AND we never hear anything from the pulpit in regard to sin, abortion, etc.
How offended Our Lord and His Blessed Mother must be from the complacency of
so many Catholics who merely sit and do nothing. Thank God for EWTN and Father
Benedict and all the friars. The arrogance of these "so called " Catholic
politicians who continue to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion is nothing short
of heresy. I see it happening in my own parish. May Our Lord have mercy on this
sick nation and may our election turn out as He wills .I recall Mother Teresa
saying that the nation that allows abortion is doomed. My prayers continue for
you. - Alvina, (CA)
Dear Fr. Glen, What a beautiful prayer Oct. 26th. I prayed four years ago for
God’s mercy as I realized that the primary issue of the election from
God’s perspective centered on the protection of the least, the most fragile
of our brothers and sisters hidden in the womb. I knew without God’s mercy
the pendulum would keep swinging to an increase in the slaying of the innocents.
I believe the election result, which so many feel violated justice, was truly
God’s mercy at work. Was not the disaster of 911 an attempt to awaken
us? We fight not flesh and blood, but the powers and the principalities. What
was the target evil wanted to destroy? To get to the heart of this great nation,
the twin towers of our pride – our military strength and our economic
power – were assaulted. Without God’s mercy many more would have
died in New York. Wake up America! Pray again for mercy in this election that
our future will hold out hope for the thousands killed in the womb each day;
that God will still shelter us from the harm that in justice we will leave ourselves
vulnerable to if we don’t do all we can to defend the “tiny ones”
in the womb. - Robert,
