Dear Friars and Father Glenn,

I want to thank you for re-printing or re-posting this meditation this morning. Most of the time, it does not “feel good” to love in this holy way because we will experience the sorrows that we probably would rather flee from. But when it comes down to the “nitty – gritty” this is where we will find Christ and His Holy Mother who is our own Mother. “Standing there by the Cross of Jesus …” takes on a different meaning now because that’s all there is right now. Dismas saw the Resurrection there as well in this beautiful Savior whose Words were spoken as no one ever spoke before. “Standing” takes on a whole new meaning. Because that is all there is now. To stand. To listen. To love, to hope, to believe.
