Eileen and the trust with which she has accepted and lives her Cross is an example for us all, Father Richard. May we follow the example of her heroic offering of herself, with Jesus, every day of our lives. She is blessed to have you and your brothers and sisters to pray with her and for her and her family Thank you. We will pray for her and her family also. Thank you for your prayers for all of us who come to the Friars site. God bless you and watch over each of you. Praise the Lord for His Goodness. May we see the path to peace which He promises to reveal to each of us if we offer Him praise for our journeys to Him. “To him who offers me praise, I will show the way to go.”

 

I just saw a poster in the hallway of the company i work for that said "One Call Can Change Your Life" and it made me think of the Franciscans. (I'm partial to Franciscans.) The poster is for a financial planning service that our company offers for free, but it could be a poster for the Franciscans. You'd just have to change it to "One Calling Can Change Your Life" and it would apply equally to the person that God calls and to each person that calls on each of you every day for help.
