Dear Fr. Glen: Thanks for that beautiful meditation on the Exaltation of the Cross. I had not forgotten the discovery of the cross at ground zero. Where is it now? That was an important symbol during those days. What has been in my mind the last few days is - Jesus embraces the cross. Embracing the cross is a difficult thing to do. Thank you for keeping this site up with the inspirational messages. Enjoyed Fr. Roemer's "rap" even though I am not a fan of rap music. You are all in my daily prayers. - Mary, Memphis, Tenn.

Dear Father Benedict, Lord, have mercy. The image of the cross at the WTC and the surviving statue of Mary brought tears to my eyes. The love that Jesus has for us and the care and concern Our Lady has for the world became very vivid for me. It gave me an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the people who shared those stories which softened my heart so that it could feel again. The daily routine can get in the way of appreciating the Love we have been given and we need these reminders to help us along. Thank you for printing them. This site has grown and changed since its first message and it is fun to be a part of the experience. My life has grown and changed, too. I visit this site as close to daily as I can and have benefited so much from the messages. I will be forever grateful. I continue to pray for your full recovery. Father Groeschel: You are in my prayers daily. I felt so bad when I heard the news of your accident. I was happy to see you on Fr. Mitch Pacwa's show recently. You are such an inspiration to others! I just finished reading two of your books: Arise From Darkness and The Cross At Ground Zero. I found them to be very inspirational. I hope you do another on mental suffering. I am suffering from deep depression and am having a hard time coping with it. Please pray for me. Thank-you and God bless you.
