“Secret of Victory”

Think about it:

In any war, each small battle won is crucial to final victory. “Little by little” is the only way you come closer to Christ and the Church, and further from sin and the devil.

If you are serious about the salvation of your soul and the souls of others, every moment matters—no moment is insignificant.

“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;” “So each of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Rom 14: l0c, 12)

On Judgment Day, we will have to give an account of how we used the gift of every second of our lives. How many hours, weeks, or years will we have wasted on pointless selfish desires? How much time will we have spent heroically loving others?

Choose Christ anew now, and at every moment, as if it were “the first time, the last time, the only time” to prove your love for Him. Loving God and others in the present moment with all our heart is our great secret of victory. As Saint Thérèse says: Let us live for Jesus, “if only for today.” Amen.
