Jesus of Nazareth

Allow me to strongly recommend the new book, Jesus of Nazareth, by Pope Benedict XVI. This is a wonderful book! If you have spent any time reading The Da Vinci Code or an article which attacks our faith and the reliability of the four gospels; if you have spent any time watching movies or TV programs which do the same, then you must give equal or more time to something authentic, something like Jesus of Nazareth. Damn the airport bookstores! They carry several items of whacky attacks on the faith. They carry several items from famous religious leaders such as the Dalai Lama. They do not carry items from Pope Benedict.

The Pope answers all of the silliness with charity and solid scholarship. I have found his writings enlightening and faith-strengthening.
