Friends Forever

True friendship

is a priceless treasure,

yet so simple a gift

We accept and love each other

for who we really are, as we are now,

and share ourselves freely; yes – even our weaknesses!

And we call each other onward to live our full dignity

as God’s dearly beloved children (He made us for Heaven!).

We firmly refuse

not to trust each other

because the alternative

is certain oblivion

Joys and sorrows

agreements and differences

are all fair trade

Humility, understanding, forgiveness

and a gentle, generous, compassionate heart

continually renew all things

In the economy of love, the richest person

is the one who gives most (all!) away

like our Mother & Savior on Golgotha

The only thing to fear is

“to cease loving”

for even an instant…

Thank you, Father,

for our great gift of friendship

making all who live in your Love

friends forever!
