"Am I not here, I, who am your mother?
Are you not under my shadow and protection? Is there anything else you need?"

(Words of Our Lady of Guadalupe)

Greetings!

This web site describes the priest’s retreats at Trinity Retreat in 2005-2006, September 2005 until December 2006. Hopefully, some of these retreats will invite your participation as well as your effort to help us interest other clergy participation.

Please note that we have included in the schedule a number of “At Home Retreats” for priests and deacons who serve various areas of the Archdiocese of New York. These “At Home Retreats” are designed to help priests and deacons make their yearly retreat close to their parishes and for deacons, their homes. Because of the shortage of priests, we discovered this year a very enthusiastic response to three “At Home Retreats” which were offered at Middletown, Graymoor and Mount Alvernia. Over sixty priests and deacons made these retreats. The schedule for the “At Home Retreats” is a 10:00AM arrival, conference, mid-day prayer, lunch, afternoon conference, quiet time and holy hour ending at 4:00PM. Many men mentioned they were grateful because of the shortage of priests, they could still say Mass in their parish and make a retreat which they were not able to do for a few years. Of course we continue to welcome all priests, deacons and brothers to Trinity Retreat for our regularly scheduled retreats.

Gratefully,

Fr. Benedict J. Groeschel, C.F.R. & Fr. Gene Fulton
