Retreat Theme: Year of the Priest
On June 19, 2009, the feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pope Benedict XVI declared the Year of the Priest. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the death of St. John Vianney, patron saint of parish priests who the Pope proclaimed to be the patron saint of all the world’s priests.

About Trinity Retreat
In 1974 at the request of Terence Cardinal Cooke, Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR founded Trinity Retreat in Larchmont, New York to provide spiritual direction and retreats for clergy. Trinity is sponsored by the Archdiocese of New York and is dedicated to our Lady of Guadalupe.
As a house of prayer and study, Trinity is open to priests, seminarians, religious brothers, deacons and their wives. It is located on the North Shore of Long Island Sound overlooking the water in one of the most beautiful sections of the New York area. The environment is quiet and serene making it ideal for clergy who would like to take time out just to rest for a few hours or for a day or so. The picturesque surroundings make the presence of God felt and offer a gentle relief from a busy schedule. |
