Greetings!
The year of St. Paul, proclaimed by Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, introduces this year’s retreat theme: “What St. Paul Teaches Us As Priests.” The schedule posted on our website describes the Priests’ retreats at Trinity from October 2008 until September 2009. St. Paul calls out to us as priests of Jesus Christ to take the next good step in the spiritual life. Change, conversion, and union with God is the goal of the spiritual life which entails a turning toward God, putting on the mind of Christ and doing the Father’s will. It is our prayer that the “Welcoming Christ” which is at the entrance of Trinity Retreat, will draw you more deeply and with great courage, into a life of holiness.
Gratefully,
Fr. Benedict J. Groeschel, CFR Fr. Eugene Fulton |

About Trinity Retreat
In 1974 at the request of Terence Cardinal Cooke, Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR founded Trinity Retreat in Larchmont, New York to provide spiritual direction and retreats for clergy. Trinity is sponsored by the Archdiocese of New York and is dedicated to our Lady of Guadalupe.
As a house of prayer and study, Trinity is open to priests, seminarians, religious brothers, deacons and their wives. It is located on the North Shore of Long Island Sound overlooking the water in one of the most beautiful sections of the New York area. The environment is quiet and serene making it ideal for clergy who would like to take time out just to rest for a few hours or for a day or so. The picturesque surroundings make the presence of God felt and offer a gentle relief from a busy schedule. |
"Am I not here,
I, who am your mother?
Are you not under my shadow and protection?
Is there anything else you need?"
(Words of Our Lady of Guadalupe)
