May the Lord give you His peace! Again, thank you for your patience in trying to reach me. Br. Peter and Br. Sebastian are helping me as a "vocations team." The second phone line is installed and working. The summer is a busy time for vocation visits (school is out, etc.). |

In the first Vocations eLetter I quoted Pope John Paul II on three reasons why it is hard for young men to embrace a religious vocation: "Fear of commitment, lack of a clear understanding of this calling, and a deficient relationship with Jesus Christ." This month I'm really short on time, so, just a quick note... |

As you can see below, I'm a little too busy this month. I only want to say that my pilgrimage to Medjugorje in June was really profound. I could write several letters based on my experiences there. If you ever get a chance to go, do it! Also, the candidates who hope to join us this September are doing well. Please pray for them! |
