The friars at St. Crispin Friary have a weekly food handout to their neighbors. Consistent with the mission of the community, this food handout provides both bodily and spiritual nourishment. A number of the friars living at St. Crispin serve the Community through their roles at the CFR Generalate. The most robust work of St. Crispin Friary is St. Anthony Shelter for Renewal.
The St. Anthony Shelter for Renewal is dedicated to the ongoing work of renewal of the whole person. The Shelter is a safe haven for single men over 18 who are homeless in the New York metropolitan area and who are personally committed to taking the necessary steps for healing and recovery.
