St. Fidelis Friary attends to the needs of the homeless in its area at Friar Benet’s Kitchen. Two days a week Friar Benet’s Kitchen serves a hot meal, provides an opportunity to shower, get a haircut, and pick up some new clothes. Once a week the homeless are able to receive free care from a nurse and each month a foot care specialist is available. Apart from the Kitchen, St. Fidelis Friary is proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed at Catholic Underground, Parish Missions, through Hospital chaplaincy and pro-life work in association with The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants.
