St. Michael Friary is home to a number of friars uniquely committed to traveling and proclaiming the Gospel. In their neighborhood, the friars have a regular food handout, youth ministry, men’s group, and offer catechetical classes for children. Consistent with the friars’ commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel of Life, friars of St. Michael’s regularly pray outside of abortion clinics and invite expectant mothers to choose life. In addition, friars living at St. Michael Friary are intimately involved with the international chastity movement and leadership formation program, Corazón Puro.
